I am trying out a new version of Pocket Sharp MT from www.randyrants.com which runs on the Compact Framework 2.0. I was a little leery of loosing precious storage space with the installation of CF at 2170.8KB, but from an execution standpoint the frameworks memory use seems to be minimal and this version of Pocket Sharp MT is considerably smaller.
Pocket Sharp MT also seems to be more stable than the previous version version I used. There is also a version of Sharp MT for Windows XP that uses the .NET Framework 2.0. I use ECTO on my laptop to blog but I may try Sharp MT and see how it compares.
I am blogging from my T-Mobile MDA using my ThinkOutside BT keyboard via my EDGE connection. For any serious typing on the MDA or any other PPC I can't recommend this keyboard enough.
2010 Air Force Cycling Classic Fallen Heroes Fundraiser
The weekend of June 12th and 13th, the US Air Force is sponsoring three cycling events; the Clarendon Cup, the Crystal Cup, and the Crystal Ride. All of these events are in support of the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. One of the goals of this fund is to support the design and construction of the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE), an advanced facility dedicated to research, diagnosis and treatment of military personnel and veterans suffering from traumatic brain injury (TBI) and psychological health issues. On Sunday June 13th, I plan on riding as a member of Team Intrepid Heroes.
Help support this event by donating and sponsoring my ride @ http://www.active.com/donate/teamintrepid2010/sskarlatos (donations are anonymous).
The troops and I thank you in advance.
