When you receive a call from an area code which is not familiar, wouldn't it be nice to find out where it came from.
The iPhone has a built in feature which gives you the state and/or city the area code is associated with.
In the phone application, tap on Recents (I just noticed this typo, there is no plural for recent), then tap on the greater than sign (>) to the right of the phone number for which you would like to view area code information. This only works for phone numbers which are not in your contacts.
This call came from the state of Florida. They did not leave a message so I am assuming a wrong number or a spam call...This feature does not seem to be carrier specific, it works on AT&T and T-Mobile.
