In the meantime there's speculation that Apple will have to open up the iPhone in Germany (with the rest of Europe probably to follow) to other networks. An injunction has been granted to Vodafone to require T-Mobile Germany to stop sales. If they have to open the phones to other networks look for a flood of iPhones to be making their way to the US at a cheaper rate. I can't believe Apple hasn't done their homework on this and it will be interesting to see how it plays out. Thanks Chris. You are right, it will be interesting to see how it plays out across Europe and how it might potentially affect things here in the US.
