One more week and 1 day until Zune is released. I just received an ad from Micro Center featuring Zune. It will be interesting to see if Microsoft is able to generate consumer buzz, until now it has been somewhat lackluster.
I installed my new ATI Radeon X1600 card and the additional memory without a hitch. The X1600 is clearly geared toward dual monitors. Comp USA and Circuit City are selling the Samsung SyncMaster 204B 20.1" LCD monitor this week for $309.99 (with rebate). Looks like a very good deal that I may have to check out.
Items I am working on this week:
- I completed my evaluation of Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0, Premiere Elements 3.0 and Sony's Vegas 6.0b this weekend. I will post my impressions tomorrow. Here is part 1 and part 2 of that evaluation.
- I will post an update on my 3 month experience with SunRocket.
- I will post an update on my 5 month experience with the Sony DSC-W70 camera.
- I will publish a list of the MDA software I currently use.
My review of the Mobility Electronics (Think Outside) Sierra Bluetooth keyboard should appear late this week or early next week on pocketnow.com.
