It will be a 90+ degree day in Washington, DC, but the clear skies should make the viewing of the fireworks excellent.

A little history from the Library of Congress "On July 4, 1776, the Second Continental Congress unanimously adopted the Declaration of Independence."

The Declaration was the document which set forth the creation of a new independent country; the United Stated of America.
