Windows Vista SP1 Part 3

From my part 2 post yesterday (link), Kevin tested SP1 on the X60 and validated the that Intel graphics and the UPEK fingerprint drivers are not compatible. Thanks Kevin. Lenovo needs to quickly remedy the situation. I will call tech support today to see if they have a solution, but I am not holding my breath.

The XPS 720 upgraded fine, it took a little less than an hour to download and upgrade. Dell tech support have told me that SP1 will fix the USB hard drive issue I have when the system resumes from sleep (it sometimes blue screens).

Good news: I got the fingerprint subsystem working :)

I uninstalled a duplicate copy of the Wireless LAN Thinkpad 11abg drivers and Intervideo Virtual Drive, and the fingerprint logon randomly started working when I rebooted. Weird...

So, SP1 is running properly now.
