The week of June 18th in My Digital Life
Last week I finally upgraded my D-Link DFL-210 router's firmware to version 2.11.02. Unfortunately the backup of my configuration did not import correctly which meant I had to reconfigure the router from scratch which took a little while. I have most of the configuration back up but I need to get VPN running this week.
Slingmedia's Slingplayer mobile beta for Windows Mobile 6 is progressing very nicely and hopefully will be out soon.
Since I was having some memory problems with my T-Mobile Wing and Spb Mobile Shell, I have removed it and reconfigured my today screen and will post it tomorrow. Responses to my post on the Spb club forum validates the issues I was having. It looks like Spb will be releasing a new version shortly which I will try this week for a possible update to my review here. Hopefully the new version will solve my issues. T-Mobile or HTC needs to fix the camera application, unless I do a soft boot most of the time I get the out of memory message, even when nothing is running. I run other large applications which work fine, I will probably call and complain.
This week:
- I finally have some time to complete my review of Blueant's Supertooth in car Bluetooth system this week.
- Post my Today screen updates
- Update my DFL-210 configuration

Hi Stephen. I've been enjoying your feedback on the wing and your tweaks. One thing that really bugs my friend on his tmobile wing is the top flashing green leds. In WM5 a registry key was used for the led blinks - I'm wondering if you happen to know the location of this key in WM6? I know on the mda you could disable the led from the key but in wm6 it must have moved.
keep on modding and posting.
Sorry for commenting here but I couldn't find a personal email for ya.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I have not been able to configure VPN successfully yet. I plan on working on it in September and will post my results.
