Southway Corporation's MultiIE 4.0 is released

After a hiatus of more than 2 years, a new version of MultiIE is out that is compatible with Windows Mobile 5.0. I had been using version 3 on Windows Mobile 2003, when I upgraded to Windows Mobile 5.0 last October I was dismayed to find out that it did not work. This essential tabbed browser plug in makes Pocket IE usable. Werner "Menneisyys" Ruotsalainen reviewed it on his blog. I agree with him that this is the best plug in out there. He did have some problems with early builds of version 4, but all the issues he found are fixed in the current D72 build. At 234KB, the MultiIE dll is not a storage memory hog, which is good considering how tight memory is on the MDA, however once you start opening many tabs, you need to be aware that it can use up program memory quickly.

A bonus for version 3 users, like myself, is that the registration key works with version 4 making it a free upgrade.
